session b: working culture, staff motivation
topic to discuss is a practical problem of one of the participants. her public library has to go through some fundamental changes - but she is afraid to loose the staff inbetween this process.
one participant (she is a manager in a public library also) said it is very important to communicate with all staff and to ask for their expectations and take advantage of their ideas. give them some space to develope own ideas and join them in the process.
it is very important to be open and transperent about what happens and why things happen!
