• a little bit stressed would be an understatement - tomorrow is Linuxtage, and I have to prepare two talks ... and managing a conference for 800 people ;-)

• quite good, worked whole day yesterday, and have the impression, that we move forward with the data refinement of the SSEDAS partners

• - Preparing further CHEST documents for the H2020 patform for Get Active and Ecobytes
• - sending a request about unclear tasks to the H2020 plattform
• - call with Jan from Inkota about update, and development steps
• - short email conversation with Jason Nardi about having a short call for understanding the ESS Global qualifiers system
• - moving the data refinement card we are actually working on from the backlog to the sprint, and adding tasks we are currently working on
• - communicating with Michael about renaming categories and data juggling
• - renaming the "type_of_initiative" field in the datasheets, as well as putting the "free_keywords1-3 field" as agreed with Michael
• - sending community report to Adrien
• - communication with SSEDAS partners
• - setting up the next SSEDAS filter category call for 4.5. 11:00 CET https://discourse.transformap.co/t/the-ssedas-taxonomy-convergence-process/901/8
• - getting in touch again with MattWallis and Mariana 
• - asking Jon for template to help out with the KVA for Inkota
• - prepared closing the process with SSEDAS partners to receive their data templates

• - just noticed, that we had little thought recently about translation management, which will become relevant in about 2 weeks IMHO, 
• to get an idea about that timeframe for involving the partners would be needed to inform them about their contribution for translations
• - not entirely sure how to close the SSEDAS taxonomy process, but also depends on how the data the partners want to display, match the types_of_initiatives in the taxonomy.
• > Now we focus on the development for all relevant parts in english (map-viewer-menu & filter categories & types of initiatives
• We will start the translations in the first week of June, and probably deliver the descriptions how to do it already end of may.
• For the translation part for the Website texts we will probably use Transifex or another gratis service, as this is easiest to implement
•  - can be done as soon as Kei is ready with defining the menue text variables
• - This works this way: The JavaScript in the Browser loads a translation file from our server, and replaces all text field variable strings with the string in the user's language.
• - requirement: translation file needs to be readable by the JavaScript (Transifex does that automatically e.g.)
• - We probably have a transifex account, but was never used
• - find out, if we want to use transifex or another service
• - find out, if someone in the team (e.g. Jon, Kei) have experience with Transifex, or another service, and if they would use it
• - question is actually: IS THERE A BLOCKING CRITERIA FOR USING TRANSIFEX

• - Jon suggested Web-Late, which is open source and self-hosted
• - somone (preferably Gualter or Michael) would need to set it up and mentain it. 
• - estimation is, that it would take about 8 - 10 hours to get Weblate running, and IMHO we do not have that time.

• - If Jon would need to do that, then he would loose programming time for the API, ETL, filter-set-tool
• Translation for the filters/the taxonomy will be ideally implemented with our "taxonomy server". Has to be ready for use 1st of June.
