1. Beyond the expert workshop- Takeaways and what next?
5 main policy papers/ouputs to be developed: (1)Talking point for Communicating on issues in Open Data, Personal Data and Privacy (including harm stories, success stories and other case studies)
(2) Anonymisation for dummies
(3)Resources toolkit (with a glossary of terms and a list of research papers to support evidence-building
(4) Checklist for Open Data publishing (that gives consideration to privacy)
(5) Personal Data Licensing
2. Privacy session at OK Festival-
- Recap the issues on privacy and open data definitions -Start at the basics
- map the issues that we decided on (the outcomes from the workshop)
- a sub-session with specific examples ( from datasets)- building up as much as possible on what was done at the workshop
- checklist for Open data re-users could approach- as a follow-up to the RDF checklist
3. OK Festival Hackathon
- On consent and transparency
- suggestion that participants could develop more of 'keep-out' PbD tools (that prevent/minimise data collection)
To Do:
- open spending and other activities around privacy- ask the local community
- try and scrape for privacy and personal data/information that has come up on other forums (mailing lists)
- Open Govenment (someone) was trying to build best practice for doing open data with privacy concerns (US office of Administration)- Javier to link up with him
